Lovi Poe Hopes to Continue FPJ’s Legacy Through Her Own Production Company

“This is it!” Lovi Poe recently unveiled her own production company called C’est Lovi Productions.

According to the actress, she has been passionate about being in the filmmaking industry for years–a passion that she and her late father, Fernando Poe Jr., share. Now, she is thrilled to be working on both sides of the camera. “It’s been a passion of mine to be in the business of making films in front of the camera for a number of years already, and as I continue to do that I’d like to be behind the camera too and develop projects from the beginning,” she said.

Moreover, Lovi aspires to boost the country’s talented filmmakers through her new company. “Importantly, I want to join forces with people who share the same passion and make films that would help the world recognize Filipino talent either behind or in front of the camera,” she continued.

Leading to Da King’s birthday on August 20, Lovi commemorates FPJ Productions and its legacy which she hopes to continue. She concluded the post, “There was FPJ productions…and I hope C’est Lovi Productions can continue that legacy, and bring Filipino stories—especially those independent, lesser known but equally good ones—internationally. Advanced Happy Birthday, Papa.”
