The rumors are true: Lovi Poe is now part of the Kapamilya network!
The 32-year-old actress was given a warm welcome to the ABS-CBN family on Thursday, September 16, through a contract signing with executives, as seen in a photo posted on the network’s social media pages.
Lovi was photographed alongside ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO of Broadcast Cory Vidanes, group CFO Rick Tan, Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo Endrinal, and Lovi’s talent manager Leo Dominguez.
This contract signing marks the end of her 15-year stay with GMA Network where she starred in many beloved television shows such as “Bakekang,” “Yesterday’s Bride,” and “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real.” Her last project with the network was the romantic comedy series “Owe My Love” which aired from February to June 2021.

Rumors of her transferring to ABS-CBN began early this week when Dreamscape Entertainment posted teaser images on its social media accounts about “a precious jewel [finding] a new home” which they tagged “#JustLove.” Many fans quickly speculated that the posts were referring to Lovi.
Prior to the announcement of the contract signing, the actress made her farewell to GMA Network official by writing a message of gratitude on Twitter.
“Mananatili sa Puso (Always in my heart). Hindi po biro ang 15 years (15 years is no joke). I would like to thank GMA for taking a chance on this unknown dreamer; for believing in me and supporting me all these years,” she began.
“I have utmost respect and gratitude to the network that has given me my roots and a heart full of memories. Thank you for planting my dreams. Thank you for giving it time, love, and effort to water it. Punong-puno ng pagmamahal at pasasalamat (Filled with love and gratitude), Lovi Poe.”

Lovi is currently in the US where she attended the red carpet premiere of movie musical “Cinderella.” She is also set to star in the international film “The Chelsea’s Cowboy” alongside Alex Pettyfer and Poppy Delevigne.
