DJI, one of the leading drone manufacturers internationally, has released another incredible addition to its drone collection: the DJI Mavic Air. This drone packs some serious power considering its size. Weighing only 430g with dimensions of 168 x 83 x 49mm, it’s almost as small as a smartphone! It is one of the smallest and most compact drones on the market, but it still gives bigger drones in the market a run for their money. This also makes the Mavic Air really easy to operate because of ease that its weight gives to the controls. Given its size and strength, it is certainly one of the best travel drones in the market.
Despite its size and weight, it can withstand strong winds and high altitudes with ease. The pictures and videos will remain stable even when it’s windy. The stability of this drone comes from its sturdy build and the 3-axis gimbal that allows for the camera to pivot and move around while staying stable. Even at its top speed of 42.5 mph, the videos being captured remain smooth and seamless.
The Mavic Air is able to take 12-megapixel photos or shoot 4k videos with a 24-fps frame rate with an average flight time of 21 minutes and it can go as far as 4km! Along with a great camera, this drone is programmed to have other amazing shooting modes to go with it, like the Dronie, Circle, Helix, Boomerang, Panorama, and my personal favorite, Asteroid), all of which will amp up your vlogs and videos.
For those who are scared of flying drones, don’t worry! The Mavic Air has an advanced obstacle avoidance system that allows it to “see” obstacles and intelligently avoid them through several sensing motions.
The sky is no longer the limit when it comes to photography and videography, thanks to the DJI Mavic Air.
The DJI Mavic Drone is available in three colors: Onyx Black, Arctic White, and Flame Red. The Fly More Combo offered by MSI-ECS retails at Php60,000 including accessories.
