These ladies surpassed expectations and raised the bar as being the top notchers of one of the most difficult board examinations in the country – the Philippine Bar.
Today, the results of the 2016 bar examinations have been released and successful examination takers have been celebrating.
This particular photo captured the hearts of many social media users.
Through Twitter, user Kristelle Lopez snapped a photo of Top 1 and Top 7 notcher Karen Mae Callam and Anne Margaret E. Momongan sharing a hug when they found out about the results.
“#bar2016 top 1 and top 7“, she simply captioned.
WHEN IN MANILA has reached out to Lopez for further details.
“Ms. Calam is on the left side wearing grey, and Ms. Momongan is the one of the right.
We’re colleagues here at work in SGV & Co., and they’re both from University of San Carlos.”
According to CNN Philippines, it  reveals that “Out of 6,344 examinees, 3,747 or 59.06 percent passed, which is the highest passing rate in 16 years.”
