Hey, Potterheads! There’s a new hangout space to check out in Quezon City. If you’re looking for a place that will make your Harry Potter dreams come true, Madcafe should be at the top of your list.
Madcafe is a homegrown cafe concept that offers a unique dining experience. All of their cafe branches feature an exciting theme that will add a magical experience to your meal. As their page says, “Quirky, whimsical, and interactive, MadCafé is just like tumbling down the fictitious rabbit hole.”
First opened in November 2020, the Madcafe branch in Don Antonio, Quezon City is a true wonderland for any fan of the Harry Potter series. Just upon driving up to the cafe, its interiors would instantly tell you that this is not your ordinary cafe.
Stepping inside, it’s an instant visual treat with the beautifully designed interior. This is not a surprise since Madcafe was created by interior designer and vlogger Gila Salvador.
Every nook and cranny of the cafe features IG-worthy spaces and themed decor. We truly loved the iconic Harry Potter lines painted onto the walls, the Hogwarts acceptance letters “floating” from the ceiling, and the Hogwarts Houses featured on flags hanging on the walls. You can even take a photo on Platform 9 3/4, complete with the luggage and Hedwig’s cage!
Also being the biggest of the Madcafe branches, this particular cafe offers a variety of spaces that will meet the needs of all. There are Instagrammable tables and booths for enjoying Madcafe’s delicious dishes; the iconic Madcafe beehives offers a more intimate seating option; there’s also a gaming lounge where you can enjoy a few board games while seated casually on the floor.
Being a cafe for all, Madcafe also has an indoor playground for kids—of course, it’s designed like Hogwarts. If you’re a student or a digital nomad who needs a space to work and study, they also have a designated space for you! The workspace features a long table designed like the Hogwarts Express itself, and it’s complete with lots of power sockets. It’s also located in a separate room to make sure you have peace and quiet while working.

While their exciting interior makes Madcafe worth a visit, their menu will make you come back again and again. They offer an assortment of mouthwatering comfort food and drinks that you can enjoy any time of the day.
For appetizers, try their cheesy and beefy overloaded nachos! These are also perfect to pair with their Clubhouse Sandwiches and the delicious Crispy Chicken Burger with garlic mayo.
For main courses, they have so many must-try choices that we’re sure you’re going to find whatever you might be craving for. Their bestselling mains include the classic Pares with Bone Marrow, Sizzling Bulalo, and their perfectly cooked Ribeye Steak.
If you’re not up for super heavy meals, their pasta dishes and crispy wings are a great option. Try their Chili Sardines Pasta and their Mango Habanero Wings if you want something with a kick!
Madcafe also offers a wide array of drinks—from hot and iced coffee, milk teas, frappes, and even alcoholic beverages. But what you truly have to try when you visit Madcafe for the first time are the branch drinks. Just as each branch has a different theme, each branch also offers themed drinks that you can only enjoy in that particular cafe.
At this Harry Potter-themed branch, you can try the Butterbeer Frappe (of course), and the Wizard’s Brew Frappe which is a combination of strawberry and matcha.
