Seth Fedelin took to his Instagram account to post a sweet greeting for his “Dirty Linen” costar Francine Diaz on her 19th birthday, for whom he got a simple gift: a penguin stuffed toy.
Seth’s post showed Francine all smiles with her cute pink plushie as he said, “Happy Birthday @francinesdiaz!!! Sorry late na pero gusto ko lang iyabang yung regalo ko ahahaha alam ko simple lang pero salamat dahil natuwa sya.”

He said that he’ll give his other gifts soon and shared his wish for her to always look after herself. “Yung mga paborito mo lang naisip ko ibigay habol ko nalang gift sa susunod. Ayun di na ako mag sasalita ng marami alam mo na yun Chin. Galingan mo palagi at wag papabayaan sarili mo bilib ako sayo sa pagiging Anak Kapatid Kaibigan!!!! Odit lang ako palagi,” he wrote.
He also included in his post a series of pictures and videos of him attempting to win Francine’s gift at a claw game somewhere. “Salamat nga pala kay ate sa napakasarap na manga at sa mga tropa natin na naawa saakin kasi di ko makuha-kuha,” he added.
The last photo in the set was of him in the car holding a bouquet of flowers seemingly taken before meeting up with Francine to give it, as well as the penguin doll, a cake, and other things he got for her.
Plenty of fans gushed over the sweet gesture in the comments.
The two are costars in the ABS-CBN drama series “Dirty Linen” which is top-billed by Janine Gutierrez and Zanjoe Marudo. They have previously worked together in the shows “Kadenang Ginto” and “Huwag Kang Mangamba” where they were paired with their former love teams—Seth with Andrea Brillantes and Francine with Kyle Echarri. They were also part of the music video for Ace Banzuelo’s song “Muli.”
Seth has referred to Francine as his “best friend” in a media conference for the new show.
