Who says you need an occasion to dress as a Disney Princess?
Pauleen Luna and Vic Sotto’s daughter Tali channeled her inner princess by dressing up as Moana from the 2016 movie of the same name.
Luna shared the photos on Instagram, where she captioned the photo with “Moana of Muntinlupa.”

Moana is the story of the young daughter of the chief of a Polynesian village. She embarks on an adventure to reunite a mystical relic with the goddess Te Fiti. The animated musical film features the voices of Auliʻi Cravalho, Dwayne Johnson, Rachel House, Temuera Morrison, Jemaine Clement, Nicole Scherzinger, and Alan Tudyk. The songs were written by Opetaia Foa’i, Mark Mancina, and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Miranda is known for creating the Broadway musical Hamilton.
The film has a 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with the review, “With a title character as three-dimensional as its lush animation and a story that adds fresh depth to Disney’s time-tested formula, Moana is truly a family-friendly adventure for the ages.”
In 2019, Moana was added to the official Disney Princesses lineup, joining Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Jasmine (Aladdin), Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana (The Princess and the Frog), Rapunzel (Tangled), and Merida (Brave).
