Airbnb has announced a comprehensive suite of new features aimed at simplifying how travelers plan, book, and experience their trips.

The updates focus on leveraging personal networks for travel inspiration, deploying advanced artificial intelligence (AI) tools throughout the booking process, expanding on-demand in-stay services, and providing hosts with smarter listing management capabilities.
Discover destinations through people you know
Recognizing that some of the most reliable travel advice comes from friends and family, Airbnb is introducing social features that connect travelers directly within the platform. Users can now invite friends, family, and past travel companions to link accounts, allowing them to view each other’s trip histories while the platform suggests potential connections based on previous joint bookings.
Through an interactive Travel Map, users can see where connections have stayed, their booked experiences, and upcoming travel plans, making it easy to read trusted reviews, save listings to wishlists, or message connections directly in the app.

Travelers maintain full control over their data with privacy options to hide specific trips, adjust privacy levels, or block connections at any time. Additionally, tapping on the map unlocks Neighborhood Pages compiled from guest, host, and external insights, detailing local vibes, dining, transportation options, and top local recommendations.
AI-powered planning and comparison tools
Rolling out first in the U.S., new AI integrations are designed to streamline trip preparation from initial search to check-in. Guests can now use AI Search to find homes, experiences, and services using natural language prompts via text or voice.
Finding specific amenities is also faster with AI Filters; typing a simple keyword like “baby” instantly surfaces relevant filters such as cribs, high chairs, and children’s toys without requiring users to scroll manually through options.

Search results feature AI-generated listing descriptions that highlight key property traits, and guests can evaluate saved properties using side-by-side wishlist comparisons with concise AI breakdowns. Support is also becoming more accessible, with AI-powered chat assistance active in over 50 languages and expanding into voice support to deliver quick phone resolutions.
In-stay services for a seamless travel experience
To make travel lighter and more convenient, Airbnb is expanding its service offerings through the rest of the year. Through a partnership with BabyQuip, guests traveling across over 60 U.S. cities can rent cribs, strollers, and toys delivered and set up at their listing with a 10% discount.

To help travelers pack lighter on longer stays, Airbnb has partnered with Rinse in select U.S. cities to offer free pickup, delivery, and next-day rush laundry services. Food options are expanding as well, with grocery delivery expanding into Europe alongside new local restaurant meal delivery in select European cities.
Furthermore, specialized regional gear rentals allow guests to book ski and snowboard equipment in the French Alps or rent boats in South Florida through local partners, eliminating the hassle of transporting heavy equipment.
Smarter management tools for hosts
Launching later this fall, new host-centric features and AI tools aim to streamline property operations and pricing strategy. The new Multi-Listing Calendar allows hosts with multiple properties to manage availability, pricing, cancellation policies, and promotional discounts across all listings simultaneously.

Dynamic Pricing suggests tailored price ranges that automatically adjust nightly rates based on real-time market supply and demand, while keeping final control in the host’s hands. To give prospective guests a clearer view of property layouts before booking, hosts can now offer interactive 3D Floor Plans.
Finally, the AI Earnings Dashboard provides concise summaries that highlight host performance trends, identify key factors influencing revenue, and recommend direct actions to optimize listing performance.
