LOOK: Louis Vuitton Is at it Again With This Php164,000 Inflatable Jacket

In today’s episode of “What Will Louis Vuitton Make Next?” we have this luxury inflatable jacket that costs $3,400 or almost Php164,000. This piece was initially revealed at the Louis Vuitton 2012 Spring/Summer collection, but is now up for purchase on their website.

The statement piece, called Inflatable Monogram Canvas Gilet, is made of transparent PVC and canvas. A gilet is a sleeveless padded jacket, but the Louis Vuitton twist is theirs can be “inflated as desired”—on top of the fact that it bears the signature LV print, of course.

Louis Vuitton describes the piece on their website: “This inflatable piece references the giant inflatable figures that was featured in the Shanghai show. It is crafted from a stylish mix of transparent natural PVC and ultra light Monogram canvas, with a V neck and a central zip at the front. It can be inflated as desired, enabling it to be styled in a variety of ways.”

The luxury brand also recently released a $10,400 kite (almost Php600,000)—which went viral on social media for, well, obvious reasons. Read more about that here: LOOK: Louis Vuitton Has Released a Kite Worth P600,000
