The stars of the 2020 Metro Manila Film Fest’s Best Picture, “Fan Girl,” just reunited for a new project!
Charlie Dizon revealed on Instagram that she is going to lead a new unnamed show with her costar Paulo Avelino. She shared a photo she took with him which she captioned as “Reunion project” which earned many comments of surprise and excitement from fans and friends.

It is unknown what this new show will be but it was confirmed on the post that it will be helmed by Project8, which is the same production company behind “Fan Girl,” “Alone/Together,” and “That Thing Called Tadhana.”
“Fan Girl,” directed by Antoinette Jadaone, follows the story of a young high school girl who follows her favorite celebrity to his home in the province and consequently discovers what his true personality is away from the public eye. It garnered multiple awards from the 2020 MMFF including Best Cinematography, Best Sound, Best Editing, Best Screenplay, Best Director for Antoinette, and Best Actor and Actress for both Charlie and Paulo.
It also garnered similar awards from the 4th Eddys.
Charlie is set to star in the upcoming series “Viral” with Jake Cuenca, Dimples Romana, Joshua Garcia, and Jake Cuenca.
