Dingdong Dantes may be starring in the local remake of Descendants of the Sun, but he is also a real-life hero as he was recently recognized in the Philippine Navy.
The actor is now officially a lieutenant in the sea force.
The news was announced by his wife Marian Rivera-Dantes, who posted a series of photos on Instagram showing her husband being recognized in the Navy.
She captioned her post with, “Lieutenant Commander Jose Sixto G. Dantes III PN (Res). Super proud of you my husband… Salute! ♥️”
Marian joined Dingdong’s family as he joined the “donning of the ranks” ceremony at the Navy headquarters.
