Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton), and Brie Larson (Carol Danvers) were the main cast members at the event along with directors Anthony and Joe Russo. As the ‘thank-you’ segment finished, the stadium which the event took place in went completely dark. Then, the space lit up with Avengers lights stick specially made for the gesture. The synchronized effort of 4,000 fans within the stadium even brought Brie Larson to tears.

Robert Downey Jr. addressed the crowd by the end, thanking them for their support over all these years: “It was the turning point when we felt we really had the chance to continue making these films. I know most of you were young when we first came here and now you have grown up into fine young men and women. I just want to say that I am grateful. Thank you all.”
