Julia Montes is choosing to see the silver lining of this pandemic amid the cancelation of her television projects and the uncertainty of the future of the entertainment industry.

On Instagram, the 25-year-old actress revealed what she is currently busy with these days, which is going back to school online!

“Here’s to a new journey FROM HOME!” she shared. “This is how I turn a crisis into an opportunity, doing things I’ve always wanted now that I have the luxury of time. Indeed, education is a lifelong venture.”

She also expressed her joy over how this new set-up allows her to “do [her] passion without compromising [her] academic goals.”

Julia previously graduated from culinary school in 2015.

Prior to the lockdown, she was working on her comeback teleserye “24/7” which was eventually discontinued after four episodes due to COVID-19 restrictions. Her upcoming Dreamscape series, “Burado,” with Nadine Lustre was also canceled.
