Did vlogger and social media influencer Alex Gonzaga get called out again for allegedly having a “snobbish” attitude?
Television host Lolit Solis took to Instagram to share her sentiments on what she had heard about an incident between the ABS-CBN actress and GMA Network stars Ken Chan and Rita Daniela at an airport in Mindanao.
“Kaloka at kainis ang nalaman ko nangyari sa isang airport sa Mindanao kung saan pumunta ang mga taga ABS at GMA stars,” she began in her post.
“Karapatan naman ng kahit sinong tao ang hindi pansinin kung sino ang bumabati sa kanila, OK lang dahil pag-ayaw mo ‘di huwag di ba? Mas mabuti nga iyon dahil walang plastikan pero ang maituturing mong kabastusan iyon nilapitan ka na at nagpakilala sa iyo, lalo pa sa kapwa mo artista, siguro naman hindi ganun kamahal ang ngiti mo lalo na at kasamahan mo sa trabaho.”
(“I’m frustrated over what I learned about what happened at an airport in Mindanao where ABS-CBN and GMA stars went. It’s everyone’s right to ignore people who greet them—it’s okay because if you don’t want to, then don’t, right? It’s actually better that way because you’re not being ‘plastic,’ but what’s rude is when that person approaches you and introduces his or herself, especially when it’s another celebrity, perhaps it won’t cost you to smile especially when you’re all colleagues.”)
Lolit then revealed what had allegedly happened when Ken and Rita, who Lolit claimed were both fans of Alex and her vlogs, approached her. According to Lolit, Alex had merely snubbed them.
“Ang kuwento nagkasabay sila sa airport at nilapitan ni Ken at Rita si Alex Gonzaga at sinabing fan sila ng vlog site nito. Tumango lang daw si Alex at parang dedma. Wow. Snob? Big star?” Lolit said.
(“The story is that they all went to the airport together and Ken and Rita approached Alex Gonzaga to tell her they were fans of her vlog site. It was said that Alex merely nodded like she was brushing them off. Wow. Snob? Big star?”)
She also chided Ken and Rita for acting like Alex was a bigger star than the two of them. “Actually kila Ken at Rita ako nainis ha. Artista sila, hindi sila dapat umarte na parang bigger star si Alex,” she added.

Alex then responded to Lolit’s accusations in the comments.
“Ayyy nanay Lolit, di po tayo magkakilala pero sino po source niyo mukhang mali ata kasi nagkamayan at [nag]-hi pa po kami sa isa’t isa at lahat ng iba pang GMA artists sa lounge. Niretweet ko pa si Ken noon dahil nagchambe chambe siya. Lastly salamat po sa mga salita niyo tungkol sakin ah, heartwarming,” she said.

I even retweeted Ken before because he did a ‘Chambe Chambe’ video. Lastly, thank you for your words about me, they were very heartwarming.”)
When a netizen asked Alex why she was always getting involved in controversies regarding her “bad attitude,” Alex replied, “Siguro kasi loud ang image ko and my humor that’s why people can make up stories about me na pwede ka maniwala. It’s okay. My real friends and family know who I am.”
