The Austrian Embassy Manila, in partnership with Pilipinas Calling and with the support of the National Parks Development Committee, proudly presents “Pinag-Isa ng Musika”: The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 Live Viewing Party as part of the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of Austria–Philippine relations.

Recognized globally as one of the world’s longest-running and most celebrated international music competitions, Eurovision Song Contest has, for 70 years, united millions of viewers across Europe and beyond through live performances celebrating cultural diversity, artistic expression, and international solidarity. Since its founding in 1956, Eurovision has evolved into a worldwide phenomenon known for spectacular staging, memorable performances, and its message of unity under the slogan “United by Music.”

The 2026 edition of Eurovision carries special significance for both Austria and the Philippines. Vienna earned the honor of hosting this year’s contest following the historic victory of JJ Pietsch with the song Wasted Love. His triumph not only returned Eurovision to Austria but also marked the first-ever Filipino winner in the competition’s history, a milestone proudly shared by both nations.

In celebration of this cultural connection, Manila joins Eurovision fans around the world through a special overnight live viewing experience streamed directly from Vienna for free. The program will run from 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM (PST) to coincide with the live broadcast schedule in Europe.

This year also marks the launch of Eurovision Song Contest Asia, featuring national selection shows across Asia, including the Philippines, culminating in a live Grand Final in Bangkok.

Guests can also look forward to games, quizzes, karaoke sessions, and a festive atmosphere celebrating cultural diversity, friendship, and music. The event offers opportunities for longtime Eurovision fans and curious newcomers alike to experience the competition together.
