Life has been nothing but blessings upon blessings for Jessica so far. After winning the 20th season of America’s Got Talent (AGT) last year, which brought utmost pride to her fellow Filipinos worldwide, she has taken her vocal prowess and star power to multiple new heights, and we’ve been lucky enough to join her through each one. Since her championship, she has dutifully taken her fans along every major life update, such as:

  • Giving birth to her beautiful daughter, Eliana (and celebrating Mother’s Day with her for the first time),
  • Teaming up with “Asia’s Phoenix,” Morissette, for their uplifting collaboration, “Stronger Than Before,”
  • Releasing her monumental new album, Szn, and
  • Most notably, gearing up for her homecoming concert in Manila, happening on May 16, 2026, at the Araneta Coliseum.

On May 11, 2026, Jessica spent a lovely afternoon with the media to share more of her preparations for the much-awaited show. She also reminisced on her artistic growth, having come a long way since joining her first singing competition as a child.

No matter where Jessica’s passion for music takes her, she’ll always remember her roots and carry a piece of the Philippines with her. She harbors the same sense of Pinoy pride that we have for her, and we’re more than ready to witness every bit of it come to life at her concert.

Here’s what Jessica has in store for her fans and kababayans this weekend:

A Star-studded Showcase of Filipino Excellence

Jessica always looks forward to collaborating with the Filipino artists she admires. That’s why she’s been sharing the stage with many of them upon returning to the Philippines.

This week, for instance, at the 2026 Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit in Cebu, Jessica performed a heartfelt duet with Sofronio Vasquez, winner of The Voice Season 26. She vividly recalled, “Sofronio is awesome! Not only as a talent, but as a person. I’ve been telling him, ‘You should come with me to Texas so we can make some music together.’ He’s such an amazing person to collaborate with onstage.”

Sure enough, fans can expect more show-stopping collaborations at Jessica’s concert, thanks to its must-watch roster of guests. These include multi-talented icons in Original Pilipino Music (OPM), such as:

  • “Asia’s Songbird,” Regine Velasquez-Alcasid,
  • “Mr. Pure Energy,” Gary Valenciano,
  • Morissette,
  • Martin Nievera,
  • Darren Espanto,
  • James Reid, and
  • Vice Ganda.

A “Szn” to Remember

Szn, Jessica’s latest album, will also have its time to shine at her first solo concert. All eight tracks highlight the singer’s diverse perspectives on motherhood, love in all its forms, and her musical evolution. She has God’s divine timing to thank for making these feats possible.

Szn is so special to me. It draws inspiration from the seasons I’ve gone through, as well as the ones I’m in right now,” Jessica shared. “During my AGT journey, I felt like the Lord was telling me that this was my season.”

Before joining AGT, Jessica admitted to having almost given up on music and to asking God for guidance moving forward. In return, the Lord didn’t just bless her with the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, but helped her win the show while pregnant, too. Jessica’s gratitude and zest for life have continued to flourish in Szn, which we can’t wait to hear live at this weekend’s concert.

A Single Built on Lifelong Dreams and Unwavering Faith

Jessica’s blooming career has always been founded on her faith, which she expounds on with Morissette in “Stronger Than Before.” Much like the story behind Szn, this empowering collaboration takes pride in bouncing back from the hardships that hinder our success.

“[Morissette] really wanted to make sure that this song was centered on our faith,” Jessica explained. “She and I share the same faith, so I was like, ‘Girl, I’m so down for that. Let’s do it!’”

“Stronger Than Before” proves that no mountain is too high for us to climb, as long as our faith never wavers. This song is one of many inspirational anthems that Jessica will perform at the Big Dome on Saturday.

Entering Her OPM Era

Jessica’s upcoming concert won’t be complete without Tagalog performances. Though she’s still learning the language, she’s been reconnecting with her roots through the generational hits of our homegrown talents, which she’ll surprise us with on the big day.

A Tagalog EP is also “in the works,” Jessica confirmed this week. We don’t know the exact details of this undertaking yet, but we’re stoked to witness her OPM era take off regardless.

Throwbacks to Her Iconic Competition Songs

Jessica is no stranger to global singing competitions, and her show-stopping performances on them can attest to that.

That’s why she’s bringing back a few of her most iconic covers from AGT, as well as Season 11 of American Idol, where she finished runner-up, at her upcoming show. She may not have revealed the entire lineup yet, but it’s safe to say fans can anticipate powerful, nostalgic renditions that made headlines when Jessica first performed them.

Some of these include:

  • “And I Am Telling You (I’m Not Going)” from Dreamgirls, which she performed with Jennifer Holliday at the American Idol Season 11 finale,
  • “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston, which earned her a standing ovation on American Idol,
  • “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone, her AGT audition that received Sofia Vergara’s Golden Buzzer,
  • “Golden Hour” by JVKE, her soulful semifinal performance on AGT, and
  • “Die With a Smile” by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga, which brought the whole world to tears on the AGT finale.
