Motorists passing this gas station on Cebu South Coastal Road in Poblacion, Talisay City, encountered an unusual sight: free fuel.
Local coffee businesses Don Macchiatos Philippines and Don Lemon Philippines offered complimentary refills to motorcycle riders at the station, saying the initiative was meant to “support riders who rely on daily travel.” Riders who stopped by could also grab free drinks from the two establishments.

The giveaway was available while supplies lasted, and the businesses encouraged riders to arrive early.
Fuel prices at the station are currently ₱94.50 per liter for gasoline and ₱117.80 per liter for diesel, reflecting sharp increases in recent weeks. Shell Pilipinas also announced price adjustments effective April 7, 2026, raising diesel by ₱19.80 per liter, gasoline by ₱5.90 per liter, and kerosene by ₱9.10 per liter.
Energy officials have pointed to global tensions in the Middle East as a factor driving up costs, with shipping disruptions affecting oil deliveries. Some gas stations have adapted by posting printed signs with updated prices in place of their usual LED displays.
