18 Filipino Beauty and Skincare Bloggers You Need To Be Following

6. Ginel Diaz (@ginelmd)

ginelmd beauty influencer

Growing up, Ginel was more interested in experimenting with makeup than skincare — the extent of her knowledge on the latter was washing her face with soap and water. But after realizing that skincare was imperative to have a better canvas for makeup Ginel delved into the world of skincare and has been an enthusiast ever since. She started by simply posting more on beauty around 2015 and found a community of fellow skincare lovers to share her thoughts with.

This doctor and mom-to-be now runs a curated Instagram account that is minimalist and clean with pops of color in between. Her feed has a mix of local and foreign skincare and makeup finds, reviews, routines, and occasional travel.

5. Luna (@sparklesandnargles)

Though Luna has been posting her makeup looks on Instagram since 2016, burnout and a creative stump prevented her from truly pursuing blogging at the time. Then in 2018, she turned her IG into a beauty blog as a form of healing, and as a way for her to write again. Now, it’s a place for her to talk about her love for skincare and beauty, and give the occasional glimpse into her life.  Luna says that “people can always expect honest reviews and recommendations from me because I tell it like it is.”

As a self-confessed pop culture geek, cinephile, and Potterhead she hosts a Harry Potter-themed skincare and beauty challenge called the #SparklesandNarglesChallenge every October. She was also one of the organizers and hosts of the #ABCommunityPh77 event and took part in the first-ever #AvonGlamRace this year. Most importantly, she considers her blog a safe space for those who are also struggling with mental health issues.

4. Edlaine “Mintzy” Flor (@skinshares)

skinshares beauty influencer

Mintzy tried her first skincare routine nearly 10 years ago when she was just 16. Since beauty had always been an interest to her, creating features and articles on it came naturally once she entered the media and publishing industry. As someone who’s always had glass skin, she thought it would be great to share her holy grail products through a blog. So @skinshares is all about sharing effective and honest skin care reviews for the modern woman/man.

She’s also recently published a Zine called “Skinshares”, inspired by her blog and all things skincare and make-up. Mintzy used to dabble in photography but between juggling Graduate school and full-time work, she’s ventured into graphic design instead. In fact, all the artworks you’ll see on her blog are made by her!

(FB/YT: Thessa Flores)

Thessa might have only started her blog this May but her love and enthusiasm for beauty are evident in the content she creates. She shares her passion to all the beauty enthusiasts on Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube. Her page and channel cover beauty tips, lifestyle, and food — which is expected from someone who loves makeup and eating more than anything else!

Though Thessa may have been an introvert, ever since she entered the world of beauty she has become more confident in expressing herself and meeting people. She loves to roam and hopes to travel all over the world (and vlog the experience) someday.

2. Gen-zel Delas Alas (@genzeldelasalas)

Gen-zel has been blogging since March 2012. What initially began as a diary turned into her publishing makeup reviews and the rest is history! Now Gen-zel runs a successful blog on everything that she loves and is passionate about: beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and music.

1. Camille Co (@itscamilleco)

camille co beauty influencer

Camille has actually never considered herself a beauty blogger. She says that she’s always been more of a ‘fashion girl’ and found that beauty comes with the territory. She delved more into beauty around the time she started vlogging and turned 30. A lot of that has to do with her becoming more aware of the different products she should be using for her skin and age.

Despite her trepidation with the term ‘beauty blogger’, you would never be able to guess anything of the sort when looking through her blog. Focusing on everyday aspects of beauty that plague us all, Camille creates content that we can all use and relate to.
