GIRL POWER. Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock are “representing all the women” when falling in and out of love as songs from their Manila concert pretty much depict independent women who are not afraid to give their all when they’re into a man, yet also know when it’s time to walk away when they know they deserve better.

Songs such as “Love Me Like You” and “DNA” speaks to ladies who knows what they want in a lover and would never settle for less. “Lightning” and “Secret Love Song” showcased their vulnerable sides. “Grown” and “How Ya Doin’?” identifies with girls who realized their worth after a bad breakup, those special kinds who wouldn’t let a boy step on their pride any longer.

Hit song “Hair,” however, are for the hearts that just got broken but are also determined to cut ties with the “d” as the girls sang: “‘Cause he was just a d… and I knew it. Got me going mad sitting in this chair. Like I don’t care. Gotta get him out my hair. I tried everything but it’s useless. He pushed me so far, now I’m on the edge. Make him disappear. Go get him out my hair.” The said track is also reportedly Pierre’s song for her ex-fiance, Zayn Malik. (Is this why the Get Weird Tour is all about moving on?) The Little Mix member also hinted that the “d word” is actually the former One Direction member himself. (Yikes!)

All in all, the tour itself is encouraging and empowering, as the girls show that it’s okay to fall deeply in both love and life as long as you can stand up again when it gets too tough to handle. With songs such as “Black Magic,” “Change Your Life,” “Wings,” “Salute,” and “Little Me (which is also decided to all the Mixers out there,)” the tour pretty much spells #GIRLPOWER at every corner of the stage. Not only are we in awe with the group’s fierce performances, we’re also loving how the girls are encouraging young women to always aim to be the best version of themselves. As the girls proclaimed: “Ladies, you know Little Mix is all about girl power, so don’t let us down.”
