Little Mix wants to go back to Manila: “I think this is one of my favorite places”

British girl group Little Mix visited the Philippines during their Get Weird Tour in Manila. It’s also the girls’ first time in the country, and they’ve spent it performing for about 2000+ Filipino mixers during their one-night only concert at the Kia Theater, May 20.

The girls opened the night strong with “Grown” and “Hair.” Their fierce yet easy-to-follow dance moves allowed the audience to turn their seats into their very own mini-stages. Mixers, who absolutely know the songs by heart, also sang along during “Change Your Life,” “Salute,” “Wings,” “Secret Love Song,” and other tracks all throughout the show. As the girls’ performances oozes with #girlpower, the crowd’s energy reciprocated with their loud cheers and endless chanting. Little Mix even complemented their fans’ singing and dancing abilities, seeing as how they managed to keep up with them.

Perrie, Jade, Jesy, and Leigh-Anne were all ecstatic seeing how interactive their Filipino fans can be. They called Pinoys “friendly,” “beautiful,” and “welcoming.” Jade even learned a few words that night, namely “Salamat” and “Mahal ko kayo.” The girls also expressed their love for mangoes. As their fondness for the fruit became a topic online, netizens even commented: “Daldalhan ko kayo ng maraming mangga!” (Translation: “I will bring you a lot of mangoes.”) Sweet!
