Lance Carr is currently facing a setback in his basketball career after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee during the Viva All-Star Games 2026.

On August 16, Lance was playing for Team Viva One when he suddenly suffered an injury after an awkward landing.
Afterwards, he posted a lengthy Instagram post and described the injury as his “greatest fear.”

“Will I ever play the same again? Will my passion for the sport that I loved since I was 4 years old change? Will I ever play again?” he wrote.
He also apologized to fellow Viva One teammates and coaches, as well as his family, friends, and his fandom for “letting them down.”
Despite the setback, the actor is thankful to everyone for their concern and encouraging messages. He also assured fans that he is recovering from the injury.
“I know that this is gonna be a tough journey but I will do everything to get back on track and be better than I once was,” he affirmed. “I love this sport more than anything in the world. I’ll come back stronger.”
Lance Carr is an actor and basketball player who rose to prominence when he joined “Pinoy Big Brother: Otso.” He is best known for his roles in “Avenues of the Diamond,” “Golden Scenery of Tomorrow,” and “Hell University.”
