If you’ve been following this incredible journey from the very beginning, you know this isn’t just another spin-off. VisionQuest serves as the final, epic chapter of a trilogy that completely redefined what Marvel television could be, starting with the reality-warping grief of 2021’s groundbreaking WandaVision and continuing through 2024’s Agatha All Along.
What is VisionQuest?
Marvel VisionQuest is the highly anticipated Marvel Television original series that follows the rebooted Vision after he successfully escapes from the shadowy forces that sought to weaponize him. Now living in deep hiding and searching for a renewed sense of purpose, Vision’s quiet existence is completely upended when a bounty is placed on his head, forcing him on the run alongside Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may just be Vision’s son reincarnated.
To survive this high-stakes chase, Vision has to confront his own nature, protect young Thomas, and resist the deeply psychological and insidious influence of old digital ghosts haunting his programming, including the infamous return of James Spader’s Ultron. Yes, that’s right. James Spader is officially back as Ultron! His appearance at D23 made the entire fandom lose its mind.
