In a worship service, the actor-turned-pastor happily shared that he is now officially engaged to his non-showbiz girlfriend, Ricki Umali.
“From the last time I was here, I am now in an awesome relationship,” Edward said.
Then, he finally introduced Ricki to the congregation: “This is not just my girlfriend; this is my fiancée, Ricki… I proposed to her, so she’s now my fiancée.”
Afterwards, a photo of him and his non-showbiz partner was shown through an LED screen, erupting cheers from the crowd.
In recent years, the television personality can no longer be seen in acting projects, only doing hosting or podcasting. In January 2026, he was officially ordained as a pastor.

Edward Barber rose to prominence as a contestant on “Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7,” where he placed fourth. He eventually became part of the popular “MayWard” love team with Maymay Entrata, where they starred in “Loving in Tandem.”
