Amid the highly publicized reveal of her breakup with husband Aljur Abrenica, Kylie Padilla posted a sweet thank you letter for her mom on Instagram.
Posted on Monday, July 12, the post featured a photo of her with mom Liezl Sicangco as she wrote, “I just want you to know how much I appreciate you ma.”
Kylie then mentioned how much she is grateful for her mom’s sacrifices.

“All your sacrifices. Thank you for all of it. I love you nanay (mom). I love you. I love you.”
In an earlier post, the actress revealed to fans that she is still working on overcoming her “traumas” from childhood experiences.
“Lord knows I have a long way to go in correcting childhood traumas and emotional conditioning and many more. I’m no walk in the park,” she admitted.
Kylie and Aljur were confirmed to have separated by Kylie’s father Robin Padilla in an interview with Ogie Diaz. Robin alleged that it was because of a third party which neither of the two confirmed.
In an official statement, Kylie asked the public to respect her family’s privacy through this difficult time.

“Every family goes through a lot of challenges and sometimes we think that it is only the couple that goes through the ordeal. We forget the kids and people that are involved,” she said. “All we need right now is respect—first and foremost on the decisions we have made as a family and respect for each and every member of our family—to Aljur who is the father of my two wonderful boys, most especially to Alas and Axl who are at this point very fragile, and to our families from both sides who have guided us along the way.”
Kylie and Aljur have agreed to a co-parenting setup for their children.
Meanwhile, Robin urged the couple to get back together for the sake of their kids and that Kylie should convince Aljur to become a Muslim. Robin, however, acknowledged that he isn’t in the best position to give advice since he is also separated from Kylie’s mom.
