Kim Chiu marked her 18th anniversary in the showbiz industry on June 3. The actress-host took to social media to look back on her journey and pen a heartwarming message to her supporters. Her post included throwback photos of her from “Pinoy Big Brother.”

“June 3. 18th year in showbiz. I am out of words, but I am just thankful for this beautiful journey,” she wrote.
The “Chinita Princess” expressed gratitude to her fans for throwing her a surprise celebration and for their unconditional support.
“I am fortunate to have people like you in my showbiz career. I am getting or receiving something like this, and you are asking nothing in return. Through ups and downs, you’ve been with me. Maraming maraming salamat for making me feel loved, wanted, and appreciated,” she added.

Kim also thanked the people she worked with for the past 18 years, “Eighteen years in the business, I am thankful for the trust this colorful, shiny, wonderful world has given me. Sa lahat po ng sumusuporta at nag titiwala maraming salamat po. To the people I’ve met and worked with for the past 18 years, maraming salamat po! Cheers to more years to come!”
She celebrated her 18th anniversary on “It’s Showtime,” where she got emotional. The actress then revealed she had forgotten it was her showbiz anniversary until her fans surprised her with an LED billboard.
“Thank you for the love, the support, and for always reminding me na nandiyan kayo lagi para suportahan ako,” she said. “Through ups and downs, andiyan sila, mga sumusuporta sa akin. Thank you. Happy anniversary to us.”
Kim rose to fame after winning the first teen edition of “Pinoy Big Brother” in 2006. She’s known for her roles in “I Love You, Goodbye,” “The Healing,” “Bride for Rent,” “The Ghost Bride,” and “Linlang.” She currently stars in the Philippine adaptation of K-drama “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” alongside Paulo Avelino.
