John Arcilla on Voluntary Wearing of Masks: “Hindi Kalayaan Ang Itaya Ang Sarili Sa Peligro”

John Arcilla has shared his thoughts on the recently issued Executive Order announcing that the wearing of face masks outdoors is no longer mandatory, provided that the outdoor space is well-ventilated and uncrowded.

In two Instagram posts, the veteran actor explained that despite the regulation, he will continue wearing a face mask indoors and outdoors for the sake of protecting not only his own health but also that of other people. He said that he refuses to put himself and his loved ones at risk while the virus is still around.

He then said that he respects the opinions of others but believes that everyone should still be considerate and careful with their choices.

Many of his friends and fans agreed with his sentiment and expressed their own thoughts regarding the matter.

Arcilla lost two siblings in 2021 due to the COVID-19 virus.
