JM de Guzman has given an update on his relationship with Donnalyn Bartolome! However, they are still not in one, apparently.

Members of the media were able to bring up the topic during an event in Quezon City. He was first asked how he and Donnalyn were doing, to which the actor simply replied “Okay naman” with a smile. “Nanliligaw pa rin.”
Although it was unclear when exactly he started making efforts to pursue a romantic relationship with the “Kakaibabe” singer, he mentioned, “Siyempre, ‘pag may gusto kailangang ipaglaban.”
“Napapawi ang inip ko kapag nakikita ko siya,” he added. “Sana may pag-asa.”

In April, we recall that JM de Guzman posted Donnalyn Bartolome’s selfie with the hashtag “crush” in its caption. The pair also played the game 7 Minutes in Heaven on a YouTube video that premiered in June.
JM and Donnalyn were first linked in 2022. Among those that prompted speculations between the two was Donnalyn’s surprise party for JM’s 34th birthday.

They were initially shut down by the now 29-year-old vlogger in one of her videos, saying “Hindi ko dyowa si JM.” According to her, she organized and hosted the event only to express her gratitude to the man for starring in the music video of her song “Shawty.” Later that month, JM publicly confessed his admiration for Donnalyn and his plans to court her.
On JM’s birthday this year, Donnalyn posted a compilation of videos of her and JM with a beautiful message. “It’s your day @1migueldeguzman We’ve built such a unique friendship that I treasure 🤍 One day your journey is all going to make sense to you, we all just have to trust God and help him write your beautiful story. It’s been an honor being a part of your healing. Thank you for being a part of mine. From your most hyper friend—Happy Birthday Juan Miguel,” she wrote, while also helping promote his recently released Netflix film with Alessandra de Rossi, “What If?”
