The New Land Cruiser 300 HEV and Hilux BEV Are Finally Coming to the Philippines!

Car enthusiasts and eco-conscious drivers, gear up! Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) just gave us a sneak peek of what they are bringing to the upcoming 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), and it looks like the future of driving is officially green.

From June 4 to 7, 2026, the World Trade Center Metro Manila will transform into an automotive paradise. While Toyota is introducing a solid lineup, it is their brand-new electrified heavy-hitters—the Land Cruiser 300 HEV and the Hilux BEV—that have everyone talking.

The Land Cruiser status gets a major eco-friendly upgrade by combining the LC300’s proven durability with Toyota’s practical, self-charging hybrid system.

Under the hood, Toyota has paired a practical hybrid system with a powerful 3.5-liter V6 engine. You get all the massive power and off-road capability you expect from an LC, but with significantly lower carbon emissions and better fuel economy. The updated model now features electronic power steering, promising a much more effortless, responsive driving experience whether you are tackling Manila traffic or heading out of town. It isn’t just about what’s on the inside. The LC300 HEV flaunts a new Aero body kit finished with a premium Jet Black Garnish that makes it look incredibly sophisticated.

Toyota is bringing a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) variant of the Hilux to the local market, catering to drivers ready to make a full shift toward an all-electric lifestyle.

Guided by a “Tough and Agile” design philosophy, the Hilux BEV rocks a highly dynamic front fascia featuring a unique “Cyber-Sumo” aesthetic. It looks sharp, futuristic, and ready for action. (Fun fact: The diesel variants are also adopting this striking look!) This 4×4 BEV proves that choosing sustainability doesn’t mean giving up the legendary utility and performance the Hilux nameplate is famous for.

While electrified vehicles are the stars of the booth, Toyota is also previewing the all-new Land Cruiser FJ. Powered by a traditional Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), this compact 4×4 stands for “Freedom & Joy,” giving drivers a smaller, highly versatile, and more accessible way to enjoy the classic Land Cruiser legacy in the city and on rough trails.
