Jisoo is having a big year. This 2023, the BLACKPINK member is debuting as a solo artist and she’s set to release her first music video. The video is reportedly the girl group’s most expensive music video for a solo artist.
Jisoo is also shooting the music video in different locations around the world.
According to her agency YG Entertainment, “the music video for Jisoo’s solo song is being filmed in an overseas location in strict secrecy. You can look forward to it as we invested the largest production cost ever among BLACKPINK videos.”
Apart from these achievements, Jisoo also launched her YouTube channel this year, which showcases vlogs in London, Barcelona, Cologne, Paris, and Barcelona. She currently has 3.58 million followers.
Jisoo is following in the footsteps of her fellow BLACKPINK members, who have previously released solo material. Jennie is the first with her debut single “Solo,” which she released in 2018. In 2021, Rosé released the album R, while Lisa debuted Lalisa.
