Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano are officially starting a new chapter in their lives as husband and wife, now that they are expecting their first child together!
The couple made the announcement on August 11 through a vlog that was posted on Jessy’s Youtube channel, wherein they showed clips from their prenuptial shoot, their civil wedding ceremony, and when they first found out that Jessy was pregnant. The vlog also included their baby’s ultrasound and moments from the two’s pregnancy shoot with Team Pat Dy. The entire video was shot and edited by Bob Nicolas.

In the description of their Youtube post, the couple revealed that the pregnancy came to them as a surprise and that they will be postponing their church wedding, which was supposed to take place this year, in order to focus on their baby.
“What a pleasant surprise! We had planned for our church wedding this year but suddenly God gave us this wonderful blessing, proving time and again that God is the master planner. No matter what your plans are, HE has a divine plan for you, one that is definitely BETTER than what you have imagined. His plan is always the best. We decided to share this wonderful news with you through a video shot in one of God’s houses – a beautiful chapel in Benguet,” they wrote.
“For now, our planned church wedding will have to take a backseat until our bundle of joy arrives. This is, by far, the best surprise we have received in our lives. Indeed, with God all things are possible. I hope you enjoy this video beautifully made by Bob. To our supporters, thank you for being with us since day one. Join us as we enter this new journey in our lives as parents.”

Jessy and Luis also shared pictures from their pregnancy shoot on their Instagram accounts. “So excited to go on this new journey with you, Papa [Lucky],” Jessy said.

It was last February when Jessy shared with friends and fans that her focus for the coming year as she turns 30 years old would be to build a family with her husband. She said this after doing a sexy photoshoot which she claims is her last project “for now.”
