Jessy Mendiola has been making jaws drop across the country for the daring photoshoots she’s been taking recently. But apparently, there’s a reason behind it!
According to the 29-year-old celebrity, these shoots are the last she’ll ever do for possibly a long time.
In an Instagram post showing a teaser for her latest pictorial where she was dressed in a black cut-out swimsuit and matching long gloves, Jessy shared that it was going to be her final project before turning 30-years-old and focusing on having a baby with her husband, Luis Manzano.

“This is it! My last pasabog (exciting) pictorial before I turn 30 and before I get preggy! Thank you so much to the whole team for helping me pull this off! Laban lang! (Keep on fighting!)” she wrote on the caption.
The pictures were taken by Andrea Beldua, with Patty Yap as the stylist and Ginger Gaddi as the set designer.

This comes a month after Jessy received criticism for working out and toning her abs as part of her New Year’s resolution, which the netizen pointed out would make it difficult for her to bear a child. Jessy then quipped, “Porket may abs bawal mabuntis? (Just because I have abs, I can’t get pregnant?)”
“I really don’t understand why people feel the need to ask these things. One way of showing respect when it comes to a woman’s pregnancy or plans on getting pregnant is knowing your limits,” she later added. “Stop asking, stop giving unsolicited advice. I know my body more than anyone else and I always follow what my O.B. says. JUST MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS.”
