The band made waves on social media when they dropped the surprise track “Aura,” which marks their first release since 2020’s “Sariling Multo (Sa Panaginip).”
The new track is accompanied by a cinematic music video, featuring Unique Salonga, Zild Benitez, Blaster Silonga, and Badjao De Castro as they wander around a scenic hilltop and enjoy their time together.
Following the surprise release, the song garnered over a million views in just 24 hours. The supergroup also earned its biggest streaming debut in history for any OPM songs on Spotify with over 600,000 streams.
Long-time fans and viewers of the band expressed their shock and enthusiasm over the unexpected release, sharing how it made them reflect on their earlier years and how the band’s music had accompanied them during those times.
