Andrea Brillantes is now officially in a relationship with Ricci Rivero! The actor/basketball player made a surprise proposal to the actress/influencer after his University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) game. Rivero plays for the University of the Philippines (UP) and bested Far Eastern University yesterday, April 9.
Brillantes posted a video of what happened on TikTok. Rivero was seen asking the question over the microphone in the announcers’ area, while Brillantes stood on the bleachers with two shirt optionsโwith the words “yes” and “no” printed on them. She eventually grabbed the “yes” shirt, to which Rivero replied, “I love you”.

On a Facebook post, she wore the โyesโ shirt while holding a sunflower bouquet. Apparently, it was Brillantes’ first time watching a UAAP game, and did not expect to go home with a boyfriend afterward. โFirst time kong manood ng UAAP di ko inaasahang mag kaka-boyfriend pa ako. Grabe naman yun Lord!โ she wrote in the caption.
Meanwhile, Rivero wrote on Twitter, โGOT TWO WINS TODAY!ย #UPFightย TAKEN [check emoji]โ.
