Join Group Tours.

They say that buying in bulk is usually cheaper. The same holds true for traveling. Joining a group tour can save you a few thousand pesos. Plus, group tours usually include food and accommodation, so you won’t have to worry about too much. Besides, joining a group tour is great if you love meeting new friends, as well.

Wait for Seat Sales.

If you are patient enough to wait for seat sales, you could score a round trip ticket to an international destination for only Php5,000 or maybe even less.

Do keep in mind that hundreds of people are aiming to get those tickets, though. So, besides being patient, a fast Internet connection may be necessary for you to be able to get your desired travel dates. To get ahead of the game, you should follow your favorite airline’s social media pages and stay updated.

Voluntourism

Voluntourism is the fusion of the two words Volunteer and Tourism. So, how does this work? Basically, you do something for a community, like tutor kids or help build a house, and they’ll take care of your accommodation.

That’s actually a great deal. Besides having a free place to stay, you’ll also get to help in some way.
