I had fun learning how to surf with their patient and amazing instructors. They all made sure that we were safe and having fun throughout the activity.

Are you more of a nature person? Do you want to get away from the party life at the beach? Are you just looking for a relaxing getaway, by any chance? This is the secret sanctuary to check out: my favorite accommodations in La Union, Lotus Valley Farm. Lotus Valley Farm is a farm with a man-made forest made by Toby Tamayo. It now holds more than a hundred trees. They also help out in supplying the barangay’s water supply.
You won’t need airconditioning when you stay in their modern bahay kubos. During our overnight stay, there wasn’t any Wi-Fi to keep us busy, so we got to be one with nature and let the noise of the birds and crickets accompany us during the night. According to Toby, the temperature in this sanctuary is always 4 degrees cooler than in other parts of the town.
Lotus Valley Farm offers a plant-based menu that they plant and harvest themselves, so you can be 100% sure that what you are eating is always healthy and fresh.
Aside from the interesting food choices that they have, Lotus Valley Farm also has various activities for health buffs. They conduct acupuncture sessions, yoga, and sound meditation.
