Social media became an easy outlet for all people who need further assistance. We use social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, among others, to find out and reach out to people who need help, etc.
Speaking of which, a mom used the power of Facebook to help her find the“good samaritan” who saved her 10-year-old son’s life.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET IN TOUCH WITH IAN DE LEON, THE ACTOR AND SON OF NORA AUNOR AND CHRISTOPHER DE LEON? I WOULD LIKE TO PERSONALLY THANK HIM FOR RUSHING MY SON ETHAN TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AFTER HE WAS HIT BY A SPEEDING MOTORCYCLE. HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAME TO THE RESCUE OF A TOTAL STRANGER ,WHILE ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE JUST PASSED BY AND LOOKED AT MY BLOODY 10 YEAR OLD HELPLESS SON WHO WAS ALONE WHEN THE INCIDENT HAPPENED. Through the help of her friends, she was able to talk to the person who saved her son – Kristoffer “Ian” De Leon.

As stated by the GMA News Report, Kristine’s son was biking on Aguirre Avenue when he got hit by a motorcycle. Kristine described in her post that her son was badly hit and even if he was calling for help and attention, no one really cared except for Ian.
The report further stated that Ian was able to get hold of the rider who hit Kristine’s son at Robinson’s Place Las Pinas.
I had a quick chat with Kristine on Facebook, she mentioned that she was able to get the number of Ian and personally thanked him for his courageous and random act of kindness.
Meanwhile, Kristine just forgave the rider, who apparently works as a security guard at a call center in Makati. She further explained that there is no sense of filing a case against someone who works as a security guard, GMA reported. (Personally, I would want to know why did the rider run?)
Thankfully, the son is in good condition now – thanks to you, Ian De Leon! God Bless you and your family!
Ian De Leon is an actor and son of prime actors of the Philippines, Nora Aunor and Christopher De Leon.
Truthfully, we can only guard our children as far as our eyes can see. And although there are bad seeds out there, there are kind-hearted people, like Ian De Leon, who are always ready to help anyone who is in need.
For us parents, let’s stay vigilant and let’s help as much as we can.
