Renowned Japanese author Haruki Murakami is officially releasing new literary work next month!

Murakami’s publisher Bungeishunju made the announcement on Thursday, June 4, that he will be launching a new collection of short stories titled “Ichininsho Tansu” (First Person Singular). It will be Murakami’s first anthology in six years since “Men Without Women.”
No other details have been revealed about the upcoming release.
Murakami is known for his lengthy novels that tackle surreal and fatalistic themes. His most notable works are “Norweigian Wood,” “Kafka on the Shore,” “The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle,” “1Q84,” and his most recent book “Killing Commendatore.”
“Ichininsho Tansu” will be released on July 18.
