Harry Styles has postponed the first leg of his world tour because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Like many artists who have been left with no choice but to postpone their own tours, Harry Styles has also followed suit.
The singer announced on social media that he is moving the European leg of the tour to February next year. It is now set to start on February 12 in Bologna, Italy. The first leg of the world tour was supposed to start in Birmingham, UK on April 15.
In the post, Harry says “Anyone who knows me, knows that performing has always been my favorite part of working in music. However, during times like these, the safety and protection of touring crew, fans, and everyone else around the world is an immediate priority.” He also tells his followers to self-isolate and to treat people with kindness during this time.
The singer announced Love on Tour following the release of his sophomore album, Fine Line, last year. He is also set to announce the Asian dates of the tour this 2020.
