A new art community start-up in Manila might just become your next go-to for authentic, bespoke Filipino experiences—and they’re launching their first event very soon.
Introducing Oro Cultura, an emerging creative community dedicated to crafting immersive events that celebrate the richness of Filipino music, art, and culinary culture. Through curated pop-up experiences across the metro, Oro Cultura aims to spotlight local talent and foster meaningful community spaces.
On April 26, 2025 (Saturday), Oro Cultura opens its debut season with Adhika—an intimate duo violin night featuring Symphony Rhythm Strings, performing a heartfelt selection of beloved Filipino and Western songs.
Set inside The Silica Events Place in the heart of Makati City, Adhika is a two-act performance complemented by a curated candlelit ambiance and free-flowing wines by Proudly Promdi.
Proudly Promdi is a local beverage company that started in 2012 because of a simple idea: change the perception that Filipinos have about local products—specifically, drinks.
The Philippines has a long history of producing a variety of liquors and spirits. Filipinos, especially regional backyard distilleries, have been and continue to craft local drinks—some using recipes that have been handed down over generations—that showcase both regional ingredients and culture. It’s because of this that Proudly Promdi wanted to show how outstanding these beverages are in terms of quality and flavor, and, ultimately, instill a sense of pride in these products—hence the name Proudly Promdi (proudly from the province). They hope to bring as many flavors as the Philippines has to offer. With each sip, their goal is to inspire conversations about our country and what it has to offer the world.
In Adhika, these values align beautifully with Oro Cultura’s vision: to unite artistry, community, and culture in one immersive evening. The collaboration promises not only an auditory treat through live violin music but also a full sensory experience that celebrates Filipino excellence—from sound to sip.
