My hands were shaking… not from nervousness, but from pure excitement. After years of crushing on Han So-hee (and even getting a butterfly Nevertheless tattoo, by the way!), I was finally about to witness her the first-ever fan meeting in the Philippines.

What’s more, this ended up being more than just any fan meeting. It was an experience that redefined what a fan event could be, all thanks to L-Squared Productions’ brilliant vision. Held at The Cove Manila in Okada Manila, this was, without a doubt, the most luxurious and intimate fan event I’ve ever attended in my life.

From the moment I stepped onto the grounds, I knew this was going to be different. The early access felt like a secret key, letting me and a select few into a world of pure luxury. We were escorted to our Cabana Suite, a comfy lounge that overlooked the Cove. The place was so spacious and aesthetic, it felt less like a concert venue and more like an exclusive, high-end resort. As I settled in, I felt like I belonged in my very own KDrama scene.
An Evening of Elevated Luxury
The attention to detail was impeccable. Instead of standing in a long line in the heat to buy overpriced food and drinks, we were served premium food and beverages, all of which were delicious. It was actually one of the few times I tasted legit-tasting tteokbokki and gimmari here in Manila. With a couple of hours to spare, we got to enjoy good food and refreshing drinks while waiting for the show to begin.

As the sun began to set, the open-air venue transformed and we made our way to the front of the stage – a less-than-5-minute walk away from our cabana. And honestly, watching my favorite female Hallyu star under the stunning dome of The Cove Manila lighting up the night sky, was truly breathtaking. The whole atmosphere (and Han So-hee herself, of course) felt like a dream.
I am not exaggerating. Han So-hee looked like a true goddess in every sense of the word. She was even more beautiful in person than on-screen with an aura of elegance and grace that left us all starstruck. The fan meet itself was so intimate and heartfelt. She made sure to connect with her Filipino fans in different ways.

As for those who didn’t get to interact with her intimately, we still got to enjoy the highlight of the night: the hi-touch session and group photos. Getting to stand so close to her and even touch her hand was surreal. It was a moment I will cherish forever, and it was made possible by the incredible team behind the event.
The Perfect End to a Perfect Night
The experience didn’t end when the fan meeting did either. The luxury of the venue allowed us to truly take in the night’s events by walking around Okada and enjoying what else the place has to offer.
L-Squared Productions didn’t just organize a fan meeting. They created a new benchmark for fan events in the Philippines. Their partnership with a top-tier luxury venue like Okada Manila proved that fan tourism can be an elevated, world-class experience. This event showcased that when global stars, premium venues, and the passionate hearts of Filipino fans come together, something truly extraordinary happens. It was a night of luxury, intimacy, and pure joy that I will never forget.
Here’s hoping other K-artist managements take notice of this incredible success so we can enjoy experiences like this more often. 🙂
