Dragon Blade is an upcoming historical action film written and directed by Daniell Lee and starring Jackie Chan. In the film, Chan will play Huo An, the commander of the Protection Squad of the Western Regions during the Han Dynasty in China. Dragon Blade is set for release in IMAX 3D on 19 February 2015, the first day Chinese New Year holiday period.

The film is inspired by the story of a Roman legion that made it all the way into China during the Han Dynasty. Led by their General, Lucius (John Cusack), the Roman army is seeking refuge from the enemy, General Tiberius (Adrien Brody). They come into contact with Huo An and first think he is a foe. The Romans win the friendship of Huo An by impressing them with Roman engineering.

Harry Oram plays Lucius’ chief energy and architect. Although not a leading role, this half-Pinoy actor has been working solidly over the past few years and is definitely one to watch.

Having studied acting at Lee Strasberg in New York, Harry prefers dramas and sometimes comedy. Since coming back to his birthplace Hong Kong, Harry found his martial arts and boxing background useful for action films and has now been part of over 10 films in the past two years.

He has acted in Saturnalia, Iceman, Stories Forlorn, The Man From Macau, Lan Kwai Fong 3, Something Good: The Mercury Factor, Proverbs, Four Muffins, A Man I Saw Last Night, Days of Awakening, and Trouble Sleeping. He also produced Vor, My Name Is Tanyusha (which he directed and acted in), The Gift, A Man I Saw Last Night, and Days of Awakening. This year alone, he will be in Love Stalk, Vor, and Iceman 2.

When asked if he would be interested in doing any genre of Filipino films, Harry said, “action, drama, comedy, romance, it’s all fun. I’d just love the opportunity to work in the Philippines. I have family there and I’d be happy to make them proud.”
