When going out with friends and family, it’s a staple that even if it’s just window shopping or a joy ride in the outskirts of the Metro, we always agree on one thing: to find a place to eat and fill our tummies after a tiring trip. As the Christmas season becomes the go-to reunion date for most people to catch up, and 13th (and 14th) month pay slips are coming, we engaged in a food crawl to test a certain restaurant just outside the metro.
Enter: H.I.D. Burgers. H.I.D. Burgers, or Healthy and Irresistibly Delicious Burgers, boasts of flame-grilled chicken patties and oozing raclette cheese. As the name suggests, they are healthy and delicious. With lots of choices on their menu, the barkada may have a hard time figuring out which burger would best satisfy their craving.
We went a food crawl to four (4) of their branches in Rizal: H.I.D. Angono, H.I.D. Antipolo, H.I.D. Marcos Highway, and their main branch, H.I.D. Cainta.

So, without further ado, let’s dive into the first branch we went to:
H.I.D. Burgers Angono
H.I.D. Burgers Angono offers a great in-dining experience. If you feel like feasting on your burgers al fresco, they also have comfortable chairs outside. They have spacious parking, as well.
With spacious interior setting, it is the perfect hangout place.
As for the food, we were treated to an appetizer, the Classic Potato Wedges – their signature appetizer.

H.I.D. BLT Deluxe Combo Meal.- Bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese sauce, mayo, onions. Starting price: Php130
You can add raclette cheese on ALL of their burgers, and we decided to put it on the H.I.D. BLT Deluxe Burger. Their BLT Deluxe Combo Meal consists of the BLT basics with a side serving of potato wedges.
Sicilian – Roasted tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, cheese sauce. Starting price: Php130
Cheesebomb – Mozzarella cheese, cream cheese & cheese sauce. Starting price: Php140
There’s no such thing as too much cheese, and H.I.D. Burgers knows this. Cheesebomb is aptly named because it has 3 kinds of cheese sandwiched in their pandesal buns.
H.I.D.’s burgers range from Php150 to Php300 pesos, a very affordable price for students and workers alike. Pro tip: for more of that potato goodness, just add Php45 to the burgers you order.
Their Bacon & Mushroom Melt is good enough on its own, but it tastes even better with raclette cheese.
