The Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista, or known by people as “Batista”, wears his patriotism on his sleeve. His tattoo on his left arm left Pinoys astounded by his rich love for the Philippines.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, he disclosed that he wears the Filipino flag on his shoulder all the time with pride and it’s still humbling to hear Pinoys who see him as an inspiration.
He is still in awe on how the Filipinos adore and support him from his World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) days straight to his acting career.
Bautista has been the World Heavyweight champion for a few times in his wrestling career and has an amazing record for his number of wins. His claim to fame in Hollywood is his role as Drax in the first installment of the movie Guardians of the Galaxy. He also did some stunt in the previous James Bond movie Spectre.
He is currently promoting the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 as it is now showing in cinemas nationwide.
