Gourmet Kusina: Healthy Food Delivered Right to Your Doorstep

I admit I was one of those people who had a New Year’s resolution of eating better this year, but like all the others who had the same resolution, I failed.

Eating healthy is easy to say, but I think it requires too much time, effort, and even money to achieve. But now, I don’t really know why we ever think this because there are so many food plans and delivery services available around for that purpose.

Gourmet Kusina is one of the few packed meal delivery services I have tried, and it was really good. Here are some of my favorites from their Spanish Menu. 

First is the Spanish Omelette. I personally liked this one because eggs are perfect for breakfast, and this was a good spin to the usual fried or poached egg. 

Also, one of my favorites was the Avocado & Tuna Tapas. I eat breakfast at the office, and this was very refreshing to start the day. It was well seasoned and in the right amount. 

The Beef Tapas was one of the best in the lunch menu, on the other hand. Though I am not a big fan of vegetables, the beef and vegetables perfectly complemented each other.

Also a tasty meal is the Catalan Chicken with Capers and Herbs. The chicken was very tender and the serving size, just the right amount.

I love fish, and Gourmet Kusina served me different ones for dinner. This is the Grilled Fish Zucchini with Red Pepper Sauce. It is actually best to eat when hot, so you can taste the Red Pepper Sauce that was absorbed by the fish. 

Another fish entry is the Roasted Fish with Saffron Rice. Though I am not a big fan of saffron rice, this was new to the plate and the palette. The Roasted Fish eaten with the saffron rice make a perfect combo which is surprisingly light in the stomach.

In between the three meals, Gourmet Kusina also serve two snacks; one in the morning and another in the afternoon. These snacks are either biscuits or fruits, which I skipped most of the time because I was still full from the main meals they have served.

Gourmet Kusina has a budget pack that includes 2 meals and 1 snack which costs Php 840 for 3days, Php 1,399 for 5days, Php 1,679 for 6 days, and Php 2,749 for 12 days. For full-day meals, which consist 3 meals and 2 snacks, cost Php 1,440 for 3 days, Php 1,899 for 5 days, Php 2,049 for 6 days, and Php 3,749 for 12 days.
