Go! Salads: A Health Buff’s Haven

Bayani Salad

Go! Salads’ special concoction is the Bayani Salad, which features Adobo flakes, a very popular Filipino dish. Not only does Gonzales promote healthy living, he too is tied to his roots and supports locally made goods (Go! Salads utilizes greens from Gonzales’ family’s own organic farm).

Combined with a delicious medley of corn kernels, candied cashews, and soy sesame dressing, the Bayani salad is sure to surprise your non-expectant tastebuds. No, you won’t find Caesar salad or Thousand island dressings easily found in every restaurant in manila here.

One serving is enough to satisfy your tummy if you’re not really a carnivorous eater or if you just came from a workout at gold’s gym. You can grab an additional order of Hummus and Pita bread if you need your carbs. Bottled dressings are also sold separately at PHP200 if you’re craving more or if you just want to share the goodness.

And like all food establishments, the menu is never complete without a selection of signature drinks and desserts.

Go! Salads has two beverage choices that also cater towards healthy living. Peppermint Lemon Balm and Vanilla Lemongrass are herbal teas that seem to taste like high-end versions of the widely known gulaman. Truly refreshing.

Don’t leave without grabbing whole wheat and  sugar-free cupcakes that use isomalt as a sugar substitute. Hooray for enjoying guilt-free dessert after eating such a virtuous meal. You can also opt for Swiss Muesli, a whole lot of goodness in a cup that can definitely be enjoyed by both the old and young alike.
