 Go! Salads’ Assorted Dressing Selection

Owner Cibbie Gonzales stresses the importance of serving organically grown produce that omit the use of pesticides. “Most people think that eating vegetables in general are healthy, but they don’t consider the fact that if they were grown with certain chemicals, they would rather be destructive and harmful to us.

Being a lover of salads and vegetables in general, I was more than excited to try their selection.

Whenever I’m in a restaurant, I’m always half hearted towards ordering salads because I know that the ingredients are relatively cheap and most establishments sell them at a highly elevated cost. I mean, what’s so difficult about preparing a bowl of salad anyway? I’d rather get my daily fix in the grocery and save a whole lot more.

But one of Go! Salads’ features is its affordability and convenience to consumers. Salads are priced at only PHP100 each and are stored in reusable microwaveable containers, perfect for take-outs and storage (which you won’t really need ’cause YOU WILL devour this in one sitting).

Sweet Caroline

Go! Salads has a selection of 4 gourmet salads. Sweet  Caroline seemed to appeal to me the most because of the mouth-watering combination of candied walnuts, sun-dried tomatoes, parmesan strips, and balsamic dressing. It was superb, though I’d have to quote my friend regarding the lack of variety in the greens.

Wild Wild West seems to be the most familiar as it is composed of chicken bites, carrots, and ranch dressing. It has the perfect balance of meat and veggies. For someone looking for a more filling option and needs their dose of protein, SGT. Steak Salad includes seared steak, sautéed mushrooms, and yummy chimichurri dressing.
