When Brock Rumlow a.k.a. Crossbones perished in Captain America: Civil War, we thought we had seen the last of the Marvel villain. But apparently, Frank Grillo has shared that he has five more movies in his contract.
The Captain America star told ComicBook.com that he’s obligated to do more Marvel movies should they ever need him. Grillo has appeared in three Marvel films so far. He made his debut as Brock Rumlow in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, returned for Captain America: Civil War, and appeared briefly in Avengers: Endgame.

However, this doesn’t mean that he’s guaranteed to appear in five more movies. Marvel Studios contracts are headscratchers, but it basically means that they’ve reserved slots in the actor’s schedule. If they ever need him, he’d be obligated to show up.
Personally, I love Crossbones as a villain and would love to see him magically come back to life to go against the new Avengers roster. Maybe even show up at one point in Sam and Bucky’s Falcon and the Winter Soldier series, perhaps?
