From being filmed on the court to being filmed on a movie set, Alyssa Valdez is ready to make her showbiz acting debut soon!
The former Ateneo volleyball star will be showcasing her acting prowess in the upcoming film My Letters to Happy which stars Glaiza De Castro and TJ Trinidad, set to be released on July 17.
She even displayed her talent during a recent interview on Tonight With Boy Abunda where she was asked to reenact a popular line from the classic Pinoy romcom Got To Believe, which starred one of Alyssa’s favorite actors Rico Yan, with different emotions.
Alyssa tackled Boy Abunda’s impromptu challenge with confidence and charisma, and the results had Boy applauding at the showbiz newbie’s acting skills.
Alyssa currently leads the Creamline Cool Smashers volleyball club as their captain. She is also part of the national team.
