Finch Live in Manila for the First Time on August 7, 2014!
Temecula, California post-hardcore unit, FINCH are one of the many reasons behind the rise of post-hardcore/screamo music in the early and mid 2000’s. Debuting their critically acclaimed record, What It Is to Burn in 2002, Finch took off to the top with their singles, title track, “What It Is to Burn, ” “Letters to You,” and “New Beginnings.” In 2004, they were featured on the OST of action/horror film, Underworld with “Worms of the Earth.” They continued to be embraced by the emo generation as they stepped into a more post-hardcore style in music with their sophomore record, Say Hello to Sunshine in 2005. After calling for an indefinite hiatus, the band reformed with a self-titled EP and another in 2010 entitled, Epilogue.
Finch reunited for a tenth anniversary tour of What It Is to Burn and are finally reaching out to different parts of the world, some of which for the very first time. Currently at the studio preparing for their next full-length record, Finch only have great things coming for them as well as their fans.
