Chef Rosebud cooked her own recipe: Fresh Lumpia Crepe with Cocoa Peanut Sauce. Look at her work her magic! I wonder if she can teach the cooks at the ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya kitchen? After all, ticket sale proceeds will be donated to them.ย
Here is a shot of her “finished product”. I terribly wished for more. The media and their company were given samples. Talk about a teasing appetizer! ย
My baby brother seemed to enjoy it, though, even though he’s not a veggie eater.ย
Next up is Chef Bruce Lim. He actually prepared risotto arroz caldo and bistek pasta for the whole Electrolux Discover-E audience to watch! These cooking demos were actually informative and entertaining to see. It’s such a great thing that they’re promoting Filipino food in their recipes – now, we don’t need to bore ourselves with the same old Filipino dishes anymore. We can actually spice them up to suit our tastes.ย
This risotto arroz caldo looks too good to be true, don’t you think?ย
The Group Product Manager of Electrolux Philippines, Ms. Andrea Pionilla, was very approachable. With all the promoted food, the endorsed tourism slogan and the introduced Neo-Filipino cuisine, the Electrolux Discover-E was really a huge success!ย
Foodies can also have the chance to win amazing prices every week by joining the Electrolux Instant Discovery photo contest. Just tag the official Electrolux account on Instagram, @ElectroluxPH, and share photos of your favorite Filipino dishes with the hashtag #DiscoverE.ย
Naturally, this post wouldn’t be complete without the obligatory pork belly shot. Filipino or not, you simply won’t be able to resist this! I think this isย myย favorite dish right now. It’s notย exactly healthyย but it can do for now!
